AJ was drawn to work at Tania Glenn and Associates due to their mission to make mental health care accessible and a priority for first responders all across the country. AJ has a strong desire to help first responders and their families by providing practical strategies, empathic guidance, and plan forward to live their best lives.
AJ received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from St. Edward’s University and her Master’s in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. She is currently a Licensed Master Social Worker.
AJ knows first-hand the many difficulties that face first responders and their families within the community. AJ has experience working as a Victim Advocate at a local police department and her husband is a firefighter with a local fire department.
AJ has professional experience working with a wide range of clients in a variety of settings,including first responders, cancer patients/caregivers, and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Her therapeutic style is warm, relational and rooted in evidence based practices, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
