Erin Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. Erin received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University, with a minor in Substance Abuse Studies. In 2003, Erin received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.
Erin’s experience includes work with children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds including first responders and military personnel. Prior to joining the practice in 2014, Erin provided services and therapeutic interventions to youth and families in the child welfare system, and also in the school system through her work in a non-profit for at-risk youth. Her areas of practice have included trauma, behavioral supports and interventions, parenting related concerns, substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. Erin utilizes a person-centered approach to therapy, and recognizes the importance of building a strong therapeutic alliance and honoring each individual’s unique strengths and abilities as part of the healing and change process.Email Erin
