Sarah is a Licensed Masters Social Worker with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Social Work concentrated in Medical and Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. Sarah has worked with children and families, first as a caseworker with Child Protective Services and then as a Social Worker for the Guardian ad Litem (attorney) appointed to provide a recommendation for the best interest of children in foster care. Sarah has also worked as a Complex Case Manager for a large Arizona hospital system.

Sarah is currently also employed as a supervisor with Glendale Fire Department’s Crisis Response Team and serves on the Glendale Fire Department Peer Support Team. Her husband is a paramedic at a neighboring fire department, so she understands the challenges of first responder life as both a responder to crisis and high-stress incidents, and as a family member. Sarah is happy to be a part of Tania Glenn’s team in Arizona, supporting the mental health and wellness needs of first responders and their families.
