Dianida “DeeDee” Aguilar is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a deep passion for serving veterans, first responders, and their families. She joined Tania Glenn and Associates in August 2024, drawn by the practice’s dedicated mission to support those who work and live in high-stress, high-impact environments—people whose sacrifices and resilience she knows well from her own life experience.
A proud Air Force veteran, DeeDee served as a medic until her retirement in 2019. She saw firsthand how the impact of war stays with people long after the battlefield, and she carried with her a deep understanding of the lasting effects of trauma. Throughout her life, people have naturally felt comfortable opening up to her, and she has always had a heart for truly listening. More than anything, she felt called to help others heal. Since joining the practice, DeeDee has had the privilege of supporting first responders, volunteers, and their families affected by the devastating Texas floods of July 2025—an experience that reaffirmed her commitment to walking alongside those who face extraordinary challenges both in the moment and in the years that follow.
Inspired by the care she once received from dedicated professionals, DeeDee earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology – Christian Counseling in May 2021 and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August 2024, both from Liberty University. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy proven effective for trauma recovery.
DeeDee is honored to serve the population she loves—those who run toward danger, sacrifice for others, and carry stories that often go unseen. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can process their experiences, build resilience, and rediscover hope. Integrating evidence-based approaches with Christian principles (at the client’s request), DeeDee tailors her care to meet each individual’s unique needs. She is supervised by April West, MEd, LPC-S.
