Rebecca Thomas joined Tania Glenn and Associates in April, 2020. During the height of the pandemic, she was delighted to join a team that was deemed an essential service dedicated to assisting first responders, healthcare workers, veterans and their family members during an extremely tough time. Rebecca never dreamed that she would have the opportunity to work with such an amazing population. Rebecca loves every day she goes to work and considers it an honor and privilege to serve a community of people that constantly puts others before themselves.
Rebecca acts as the Director of Operations and works more with our national customers. She has deployed to several critical incidents and two disaster events, including a major human trafficking tragedy and the Uvalde, TX school shootings in 2022. Rebecca also frequently visits various public safety departments and speaks at conferences. She enjoys helping first responders understand the physiology of stress and her passion is facilitating discussions that change the perception of mental health in order to break the stigma associated with getting help.
Rebecca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker earning her bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She utilizes various techniques and modalities when working with her clients, and values the strengths based approach as well as building on resilience and strengthening one’s mental health.
