Melissa Kendrick

Melissa Kendrick

Melissa is a 31-year paramedic and 21-year flight nurse. As a flight nurse and educator, Melissa received the initial Trauma Resilience training in 2013 from Tania Glenn, and she fell in love with the “no BS” and physiology-focused education. Melissa joined the PHI peer support team under Tania shortly thereafter, and she has never looked back. She thoroughly enjoys watching first responders build resilience and improve mental health in ways that are intended to keep them in the field helping others.

Melissa has worked EMS in rural and suburban Texas. She was an ICU nurse and flight nurse at Memorial Hermann in Houston. She was the Clinical Education Coordinator for California and Texas for PHI Air Medical, and she is currently the Chief Flight Nurse for CHI St. Joseph Air Med 12 in Bryan, Texas. Melissa is passionate about education and has spoken at multiple local, state and national conferences. She holds a Bachelor of Science in both Biomedical Science and in Nursing, and she has a Masters in both Business and Healthcare Administration.
